My name is Brechan Rose Violet.I’ve been called many things: traveller, daughter, artist, poet, yogi, explorer, philosopher, old soul — a channel of truth.For years, I clung to an identity I thought I should be, working hard to build a life I believed would bring fulfillment. I never stopped to ask myself what my soul craved and what it was my heart was calling out for. Like the tides it came in slowly, then all at once. I woke up neck deep in a life that felt like it was designed for a stranger. For I had become a stranger to myself. The process of shedding had begun, it was time to let go. Time to lay down the woman I had spent two and a half decades becoming. With each layer I peeled back, the rawness and vulnerability shook my entire being. There was nowhere, no one, nothing to turn to. Surrender wasn't just an option, it was all that was left. It was reality.I began to seek an embodied understanding of who I am - who we all are - at a level beyond the mind and body and the stories we create. And so, I sought. I travelled thousands of miles, learned from countless teachers, immersed myself in dozens of practices, techniques and philosophies and I prayed until my life itself became my offering.Eventually the answer came. Not from a place of doing, figuring out or searching. But from listening to the space within that had reached it's limit. Eventually, the stillness began to speak. I learned that the answers we seek can only be found when we offer continual devotion to the space within ourselves that knows the way. The space within ourselves that knows who we really are. There is nothing to do, nothing to fix, nowhere to go. We can't cross the bridge, we are the bridge.When I shifted my focus from doing to being, life transformed. I discovered my passion, I discovered the peace that lies between paint and a canvas. The sweet kiss of a brush dipped in color.At heart, I am here to help remember who we are, through art. Each brush stroke intentionally placed to pull us back into remembrance of what we are here for. Each swirl bringing us home to the place we never left.~ With each path we take, we continually arrive home to ourselves ~There is no other way.🌞 My Values
